Seasoned Advice for Software Clients and Consultants
Tuesday February 7th 2012
Hello and Welcome. My name is Brian Wisnor and I have been leading and managing enterprise level software projects throughout the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and South Korea since 1998. For five years I served as a project manager and senior consultant for an ERP software company, working with over forty clients in thirty states. I then served as an IT project manager for two years, overseeing the implementation of an ERP system for a $500M corporation and building an EDI system from scratch. For the last four years, I have served as a business analyst at the US division of a $1B global leader in the hematology and life sciences industry. Prior to entering the arenas of project management and business analysis, I served five years as a USMC Logistics Specialist (Sgt 85-91) and then managed gourmet coffeehouses for a number of years thereafter. So, while this web site will not prepare you for your PMP certification, I do hope that whether you are a software company, software consultant or a software client, that here you will find some tools, tips and advice that will help you succeed in your own software projects.
